With the winter holidays coming to an end, shoppers’ budgets are feeling the strain, with January recognized as the most financially challenging month of the year. If during the gift-giving period, consumers expect additional costs to the planned budget, and often leads to relaxed spending beyond planned budgets, in the following months, Romanians are more careful about the prices of desired products and the shopping basket. Factors like inflation influence the desire to purchase preloved products, thus becoming a good method of saving.
OLX, the leading generalist listing platform on the local market, and Pago, the application through which Romanians can remotely manage their bills and utilities payments, announced a collaboration to reward users who use OLX’s delivery service. Thus, shoppers who purchase products in the Mother and Baby and Fashion and Beauty categories using OLX delivery will be rewarded with points in their Pago account, which can then be converted into money.
Points represent 0.25% of the value of the product purchased through the delivery service and each point is worth 0.01 lei. Users can benefit from this campaign until 29 February 2024. For the terms and conditions of the campaign, go here.
“Household expenses remain a focus for Pago users, regardless of the time of year. We’re glad to be part of this campaign and to be able to offer OLX customers the benefits of paying their utility bills anytime, anywhere, quickly and securely.” Adrian Cighi – Co-founder Pago.
“We understand the needs of our users and want to support them to enjoy as many of their favorite products as possible during financially difficult times. Working with Pago reflects our ongoing commitment to providing great experiences for our customers. By implementing this rewards service within the OLX platform we aim to bring them a plus during this post-holiday period and offer them significant benefits”, explains Dragoș Matei, OLX Senior Category Manager.
Through this partnership, payment management and financial rewards bring a little extra to shoppers’ pockets and allow them to enjoy more attention for themselves or their loved ones.
